Qualification | (i) Degree in any discipline (ii) Having undergone a Category-6 Dangerous Goods Training course duly approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or International Air Transport Association (IATA). |

Experience Requirements | Total experience of seven years i.e. (i) Two years’ experience as Dangerous Goods Instructor of a training organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and (ii) Five years’ experience in handling air cargo in scheduled operations. |

APPLICATION FEE: (a) Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. (b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
General Instructions
- a) All applicants, whether currently employed in government service, government-owned industrial or similar organizations, or private employment, must submit their applications directly to the Commission through the online portal. Individuals already serving in regular government positions, both permanent and temporary, excluding casual, adhoc, daily wage, or contractual roles, should declare in writing to their respective Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the selection process.
- b) The eligibility of all candidates in all respects will be determined based on the closing date for submitting the Online Recruitment Application on the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in.
- c) If a candidate claims that a specific qualification is equivalent to the requirements mentioned in the advertisement, they must provide documentation, such as an order or letter, indicating the relevant authority, its reference number, and date, which treated the qualification as equivalent. Failure to provide this documentation may result in the rejection of the Online Recruitment Application.
- d) If necessary, candidates must be prepared to attend a personal interview at a location designated by the Commission. The Commission does not cover the travel or other expenses of candidates called for an interview. However, they do provide a contribution to travel expenses, equivalent to the Second Class Mail railway fare by the shortest route from the Railway Station nearest to the candidate’s normal place of residence or where they start their journey to the interview location, and back to the same station or the actual railway fare incurred, whichever is less. Detailed information will be provided when candidates are invited for an interview.
- e) The Commission’s contribution to travel expenses for candidates interviewed in Delhi will be paid on the interview date. For candidates interviewed in locations other than Delhi, the contribution will be sent via Money Order at a later date. Alternatively, candidates may opt to have the contribution transferred to their bank account by submitting a cancelled check with their travel allowance claims.
- f) The invitation of candidates for an interview does not guarantee their selection. The issuance of appointment orders to selected candidates is the prerogative of the government.
- g) Candidates must be in good physical health and be willing to undergo any required medical examinations as specified by the government.
- h) The final result will be communicated to candidates through the UPSC website and Employment News in due course. Interim inquiries about the result are unnecessary and will not be addressed. The Commission does not engage in correspondence with candidates regarding the reasons for non-selection for an interview or appointment.
Special Instruction
- The Commission may offer a higher initial pay to candidates who demonstrate outstanding performance in the interview.
- Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification of a candidate.
